2000 Subscribers!

My target for last year (2012) was 1000 subscribers. I hit it on the 13th of November and a large celebration was held with a multitude of special videos! The big video I made for that is the lovely Gaming is Awesome video you’ll find on the home page.

March 5th is my YouTube birthday, and I wanted to hit 2000 by then. I was actually behind schedule up until last Saturday (9th Feb) when, for some strange reason, my Morrowind videos started getting a lot of attention. Episode 1 has become my most viewed video with almost 20,000 views and 340 likes with only 4 dislikes.

Growth rates are understandably exponential — the rich get richer after all — but this is a particularly unexpected spike. Let me just show you the graph.

Since that Saturday, my daily subs has grown from 5-10 a day to 30-60 a day. THAT IS INSANE! I don’t know if this can continue and maybe the attention will fizzle, dropping me back to my normal sub rate. Regardless, I’ve hit my target way before my schedule and it makes me feel like all my hard work is really being appreciated. I thank you all for giving me a little bit of your attention and I hope I can continue to entertain and inform you.
